This fully insulated building (under floor, walls, ceiling) has a composting toilet, grid connect solar, integrated heater and hot water, water tank (23,000L), grey water system, is solar passive and soon to have a solar water pump.
We are semi-self sufficient with chooks and geese. I hope to also raise turkeys and trout.
I hope to make this building more heat-efficient with better curtains and pelmets.
I am looking to install evac. tubes for hot water in summer and get more solar panels for general power.
A Green House, done on a single parent pension - a very tight budget! It can be done!
