Sustainable House Day, Peakhurst, NSW

The garden features a 4,500l and a 1,500l rainwater tank. Rainwater is used for watering vegetable and flower gardens and to provide drinking water for pets.

The garden houses chickens for eggs and manure for gardens.

Two sheep call the garden home, with their fleece spun and their manure used for making compost and liquid fertiliser.

A vegetable and herb garden also feature which produce food for the household.
