Brief Description: 4 star NaTHERS rated passive solar house with innovative slab design & use of thermal mass. Flood basin, raised floor, & subfloor open to floodwater. Due to the technically challenges of the site, the local council took some persuading to give permission for building approval. However some innovative solutions were trialed, and now that the concepts have been demonstrated, council has thrown it's support behind the techniques employed.
